About the Greater Washington College Info Center

The Greater Washington College Info Center is a program of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area established to increase the numbers of students who enroll in postsecondary education. The CIC's programs and services include:

Walk-in College Info Centers at the MLK, Benning Branch and Washington Highlands Branch libraries
Free advising services at both locations staffed by experienced educational advisors
Educational Talent Search (a federally funded TRIO program)
Kids to College
School-to-Careers
Outreach activities (workshops, information sessions on college, career and financial aid topics)
Publications and Professional Development/Training
