Explore Careers

For many students, learning about career options is the first step in making educational plans. What do you want to do with the rest of your life??? With all of the thousands of choices available, there are bound to be several that meet your needs. Keep in mind that many people change careers, not just jobs, but careers, 3-5 times during their working life.

If you're not sure about what careers match your needs, there are many resources to help you decide. A career assessment can help you match your intersts and skills with potential career fields. Thanks to the D.C. Public Schools Career and Technical Education Division, the CIC now has access to Bridges, an on-line career development tool.
