In addition to the programs available through the Greater Washington College Information Center, the following groups and organizations have resources that can provide additional help to the potential college student and their family.
Early Awareness
Financial Aid A Word of Caution...while the financial aid sites listed below do not require payment of any fees for scholarship or financial aid information, you may find links to other sites that require a fee. You may choose not to use sites that charge for services.
Admission Tests
Go to College Note: Many colleges now have information on the web. You can use any of the Web search engines to locate specific colleges. If you use Netscape and select Yahoo as your search engine, click on Education to start your search.
Online Applications Note: Many colleges now have electronic applications that are accessed via their own web site. Check there before you use another electronic application service.
